Re: Ojiya/Hiroshima/Isawa Bound PSKoi - Fall 2022
Next was a visit to Sekiguchi Koi Farm. This farm is not very big but it produces some of the best Showa I have seen.

I only picked up three Showa and they did not last long. As I am behind in my blog posting I posted one of the Showa on FB and this led to a flurry of requests. You can see why looking at these very special Showa.
I did not purchase all of the Showa in this post.

Re: Ojiya/Hiroshima/Isawa Bound PSKoi - Fall 2022
It was a busy day as we went from Sekiguchi, 40 minutes South of Ojiya, to Teradomari which is over an hour the other direct from Ojiya.
Teradomari lost one of his greenhouses and isn't replacing it so rumor had it that the line of Koi with Teradomari Gin wouldn't be around for much longer. He is someone that has developed a special GR that can not be replaced.

I love going to Teradomari for the drive home and my "team" wanted to get his toes wet at the beach.

Re: Ojiya/Hiroshima/Isawa Bound PSKoi - Fall 2022
Yesterday I was notified that Torazo was harvesting the pond with his very best Nisai Kohaku. This harvest was actually only about 10 minutes from our hotel so, it was not a hard decision to make.

There were 82 Koi in this mud pond and I came away with one. This Kohaku is stunning so, instead of asking to put in on hold for a day while I show some customers, I bought it on the spot.

All of the Kohaku are displayed in tanks like these after the harvest. This is where I found it.

I am sorry I have not been posting but I got Covid and I really can't do much. I have pictures and I am behind on posting but don't have the energy. I am better today than yesterday but still very tired.
