Yes, there were a lot of large Kosui in the net.

Today was spent. largely with Sekiguchi, looking for a Showa for a customer. He wanted quality, body, pattern and quite a bit of Sumi that is already showing. I think we found it.

Today I drove out to Minuma Koi Farm. It is 3 1/2 hours each way so it was a very long day. I spent about five hours there and, since I had only bought Tosai from him before, I did not know the price levels of his Nisai. What I learned is he culls everything and only keeps the very best of what he has for Nisai. There are not great numbers of them either. This means I did not buy much but did fill a couple of orders. His Nisai are solid four figure fish.
