So, I had to make two showers for the new setup- I based these on a DIY PVC shower in the DIY section of Koiphen.
I am using milk crates with an offset on the bottom
So I made rails on the bottom to keep the bottom of the crates about 1.5 inches off the bottom of the shower.

When fully loaded, each shower will hold 6 of the crates.
The enclosure for the showers has a granite capstone mortared in place.
So I made the manifold to slide in- from the rear hence the metal tabs. There is a 2 inch gap at the back between the manifold and the removable top panel of the shower for air flow. Panel is removable to allow for removal of media.
More later tonight- I am being paged by my wife!

The manifold will have a "T" inside when completed- with any luck the plumbing will be completed tomorrow.
Here is one unit installed with the removable panel removed.
And here is the look from the front.

What do you neighbors think?

They are waiting to see some fish!
Re: Indianapolis IN, Pond Build with a Blue Eco RDF
Well, we are about ready to make the transition from construction to maintenance. I still need to hook up the Levelor (last year it did not turn off the water so I need to track that down while I am able to watch it cycle), but all other systems are working and the "Guinea Pig" has survived for 3 days. She did manage to work herself into the skimmer (not bad for a 22 inch fish!) but I have been checking on her first thing every morning and found her before she did any real damage. So, I just need to complete the skimmer guards (I am using PEX tubing and plastic fittings) and I will be ready for the herd!
