Well, we finally got the capstone finished! Now I need to reroute the plumbing to service two showers rather than one, drain the rest of the water out of the pond and clean out all of the mortar which has colored the water a sickly green, do some touch-up painting and refill. The end is in sight!

Here you can see what happened to the water- which was totally clear before the capstone went on!

The fire pit design was all Anastasia's work, I don't think Lesa Rae realized how much that colored glass would cost!

We also went with the phone control for the fire pit which the plumber had not done before. Once we went that route, the masons/plumbers have been mentioning it to their other clients, and it has become a popular choice. Of course, LR has now learned that it is never a good idea to give a man a remote control for a fire- he WILL use it!

You pretty much can't give a man a remote control for anything.
