Mr. Sakai predicted that these changes would take place while in the mud that summer. Here are a couple of pictures of the Showa after she came out.

This is a Showa that will take many years to fully develop. Here are some more pictures of her after she came out of the mud a year after the last pictures. The Beni is holding strong.

I couldn't help but read this whole post a few times hoping to learn more about bad Beni. There are many examples of good Beni but not much in the way of showing bad Beni. I get it, most breeders will toss out bad Beni like spoiled milk, but if we have a comparison between good hiban separating vs bad Beni breaking, it would help me learn what to avoid. Can you provide any examples if possible?

I am afraid I never documented bad Beni development, which is a good point, so I don't have any pictures.
