For people whose last name isn't Sakai, It is tricky to identify pink beni on small tosai. So I decided to make a fool out of myself and picked out some INC tosai from this trip with what look (to me) to be higher probability of being pink.

Could turn out to be 3 strikes.

I bought a tosai with daikon body last year to experiment. I am afraid that mine could be this daikon variety.

I remember this tosai and her few bulky siblings.

Love the progress she has has made so far. The skin and beni are looking beautiful. Her diakon conformation actually got better as she seems to grew length proportionally. The gamble paid off.

These are easier to tell apart than Yamabuki but you still have to catch them.

This is one that sent my heart pitter patter when I saw her in the bowl on arrival day. Russ saw my face and said "don't even think about it!!" LOLOL He'll be very happy when she is safely off our property and out of my drool zone. ;) You shouldn't even hesitate. Just claim her as a gift....
