Ojiya/Hiroshima/Isawa Bound PSKoi Fall 2019
Re: Ojiya/Hiroshima/Isawa Bound PSKoi Fall 2019
You know, I was scanning through the Koiphen thread, "Only One" that Super Kindai did and Minuma is mentioned. It goes that far back. Hard to believe it has taken this long to bring them to the US.

Yup, he started breeding close to 40 years ago but Goshiki was not hat he started with. It is supply and demand. It takes 7 hours of driving from Nagaoka to visit Minuma. I know brokers in Japan that don't want to drive that far for a 'possible' sale. I get around on my own so it is a no brainer. Without a demand in the US I think there was no rush on him being certified to ship into the US. He was just certified this year.

I am back in CA waiting for my flight to Indiana. I did not have time to post this last Koi but I did go to Izumya, the day before I left, and found a very nice Nisai female Yamabuki. This one is 20".
