Toshi Sakai (Matsunosuke) Bay Area Visit 3-30-17

Postby Russell Peters » March 29th, 2017, 8:44 am

Tomorrow morning we are heading out to SFO to pick up Toshi Sakai. He will be here for four days and is leaving on Monday morning. I have arranged for some pond tours and tomorrow afternoon we will be heading to our first pond in San Rafael. We have a second one lined up for Friday afternoon as well as Saturday morning out in Brentwood. We will be attending the ZNA NorCal Show on Friday and Saturday as well so, if you see me, please come and say hello. I do not have a booth at the show so we will just be walking around.

I can tell you that there is no buffalo at this pond. I am sure there are a lot of very nice ponds in Brentwood but the owner of this pond has been to Japan many times with me and has visited Toshi at his farm many times. He has a 31" Pink Beni Sanke in his pond. :-BD

We picked Toshi up at SFO, yesterday, and then headed up to Marin to see Mary Neilson's pond. We had to do a little sightseeing on the way so we stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge.
