You're making good progress. It will be exciting to see your new facility filled with koi. On a side note, where's M's koi/pond going?

I hope I am answering this correctly but, if not, M can correct me. She is now married to a dealer so she can no longer show. This changes the hobby for her. She is still going to have Koi but they are going to be mixed with the Koi that PSKoi brings in. She can enjoy them or sell them. She is not going to have a separate pond.

Today I got a rough estimate for a brand new roof on the building. It was very reasonable so I told the contractor to firm up his numbers and let me know for sure as I want to get it done as soon as possible. We also got our snow plow / lawn mower delivered today.

The main source of heat for the Koi building is the outdoor furnace so I am also working on getting fire wood. I spent a good portion of today putting together a shed for the wood next to the furnace so that the wood stays dry.

I unpacked a lot of boxes marked for the office and it has now become a jungle. One of the treasures I have is this glass plate made by the late Ray Jordan. It is one of my prized possessions as it is the 101cm Sanke bred by Toshio Sakai that won GC at the AJKS is 2002. It is made by Ray Jordan and signed by Toshio Sakai. I have had it for about 10 years and this is the first time I have ever displayed it.

As I pan over to the front of my desk you can see two Koiphen frisbees. One is green and one is orange. You can start to get a sense of how much there is to put away.

I found a few PSKoi shirts. Mark Corser, the Sanke on this shirt is swimming in your pond.

This isn't Russ's wheelhouse, but it is mine, lol. We picked up the cabinet against the wall for a mere $50. It's the one next to the rocking chair. Solid wood, a finish that is a close match to the other furnishings we are adding to his office and I located a china cabinet at the same place (needs refinishing) for another $75. Gotta love craigslist!
